May 28: National Flag Day



The Philippine flag was first unfurled on May 28, 1898.

The celebration of Flag Days starts on National Flag Day (May 28) and ends on Independence Day (June 12).

This year’s theme is "Igalang ang Ating Watawat: Sa Isip, Sa Salita, at Sa Gawa" ("Respect our Flag: In Thought, In Word, and In Deed").
